TAFE SA launches training hub for resources sector

The resources sector in South Australia will benefit from a new Mining, Engineering and Transport (MET) training centre at TAFE SA’s Regency Park location.

Key courses will include those in faculties such as Automotive, Electronics and Computer Systems, Engineering and Transport, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, and Fabrication and Mining.

Opening today, the $38.3 million centre has a capacity of 3,000 students at a time, with 700 already training on site.
