The campaign for one of the largest arts festivals in the Southern Hemisphere The Adelaide Fringe Festival has officially launched after confirmation the design and theme for next year’s festival has been chosen.
The design was picked as part of a global competition to find the best poster design that reflected the 2015 Fringe theme ‘Experience Something New.’
Fringe Director Greg Clarke said the brightly coloured poster featuring a one-eyed psychedelic inspired bandleader was exactly what he was looking for.
“The poster’s originality, wild vibrancy, and playfulness captures the essence of the Adelaide Fringe and the fun interpretation of a bandleader really made it stand out creatively,” Mr Clarke said.
